Privacy policy
DRIFT is built to need as little of your data as possible. No accounts, no tracking profiles, nothing sold. Last updated 2026.
What we don't do
- No accounts, sign-ups or passwords.
- No advertising trackers and no selling or sharing of personal data.
- We never ask for your seed phrase or private keys — nobody legitimate ever will.
What we store
Shard data
When you claim, we store the Shards tied to your wallet address — their seed, biome, rarity and claim time — in our database on the server's /data disk. This is what powers your portfolio and each Shard's evolution. The only personal identifier involved is your public wallet address.
Server logs
Our server keeps standard, short-lived request logs to keep the service running and defend against abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you.
Browser storage
The app stores a small amount of data in your browser — for example, which wallet you last connected — to make the experience smoother. It stays on your device and you can clear it anytime.
Third parties your browser may contact
- Google Fonts — for the pixel typefaces.
- Solana RPC providers — to read your $DRIFT balance on-chain.
- Your wallet extension — Phantom, Backpack, Solflare and similar.
- A price source — for the live token price shown on the site.
Each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with the request.
Wallet data
Connecting a wallet shares only your public address. Claiming requires a signature that you approve in your own wallet. We can never move your funds or your Shards without you signing, and your public address and on-chain balance are already public on the blockchain.
Children
This service is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under the age required to use crypto services in their jurisdiction.
Changes & contact
We may update this policy as the project develops; material changes will be posted here. Because we hold no personal accounts, there is little personal data to request or delete — but you can always clear your browser storage and disconnect your wallet.
